Alexa is a native to Metairie, LA and graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School in New Orleans. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2013. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2017. Alexa began her physical therapy pursuit at Superior Rehabilitation as a technician back in 2013. She has always had a passion for orthopedic physical therapy and caring for patients in this setting. Her interests are in providing an evidenced based approach with individualistic treatment plans and utilizing manual therapy techniques. She is certified in dry needling as well as joint mobilizations. Alexa resides in Metairie, LA with her husband Jeff and their dachshund Chewbaccca. Alexa and Jeff enjoy cooking and traveling.
