Destiny Kennedy, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, MDN Cert. is a physical therapist with 8 years of clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Fitness Studies, from LSU Baton Rouge in 2013. She continued her education with LSU Health New Orleans where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Since graduating, Destiny has worked in an outpatient clinic in Slidell, LA where she focused on furthering her education and obtained her dry needling certification (MDN Cert.) in 2019, became a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2022 (OCS), and most recently obtained her certification in orthopaedic manual therapy (COMT) in 2024. Though her focus is primarily orthopaedics, she completed continuing education to treat vestibular/balance disorders and concussion management, and she has additional training to perform functional capacity evaluations. Destiny also works as an acute care physical therapist, with 8 years of experience to date, allowing her to work with a variety of patient populations. Destiny is a dog mom to Loki and loves being an Aunt to her nieces and nephews. When she has free time, she enjoys reading, working out, hanging out with her family and friends, and taking trips!
